What is "Mission Academy"?
The 19th Century & the Savior
Most of our high school
students study the history of 19th Century India. Imagine if you
were time travelling to India – just after 1857’s War of Independence – you
would smell the stench of persecution; see the darkness of bigotry and animosity towards the conquered;
and feel the shackles of economic, political and social victimization.
In such times of social and
moral turpitude, what name occurs to you as the harbinger of Muslims’
resurrection? Who is perceived to practically save them in the second half of 19th century India?
The Muslims across the
Subcontinent will tell the person is no other than Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. We
consider him to be the Savior of the fate of Muslims in the Subcontinent, who
by being an educationist inspired the marginalized; showed them how to brace
the brutalities and biases and inspired them to overcome their imperfection.
Hence, I consider Sir Syed Ahmed Khan to put forward his mission as our vision.
His Mission Our Vision
Educational support and enlightenment of our nation is as critical as ever, with a significantly large number of our populace without the “life skills” of today. The vision of Sir Syed thus becomes the foundation of Mission Academy – not only this educational blog but various other resources will be dedicated to “Free Learning & Capacity Building” of our professionals, students and common Pakistani. We are a group of individuals, who have proven experience and expertise in imparting various skills at academic, corporate and non-profit institutions.
You are Always Welcome
We welcome you in the quest of
sharing and caring with Pakistanis in particular, and all others in general, the
same beacon of enlightenment as was shared by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.
Our content will be shared
through articles, Video-logs, and other social media posts, mainly in English
for a wider access to people. However, the brief interpretation of topics will also be given in Urdu to assist our viewers in Pakistan and abroad.
Keep in touch, Best Wishes.
